This is a
quilt that my husband and I collaborated to make. It started
out to be a bikini quilt by my husband. Then I add my two
bits to it and it became a Double Delight.
It is a
one-block design. It depends how you turn the blocks. It
makes interlocking ovals. Simple to make. Chose two color
combos, half are one color combo and the other half is
another (preferably medium vs. dark).
There are
three pieces to the block pattern (right, left, and middle).
Two blocks make up the major block pattern set. Alternate
two color combo sets.
Practice
your quarter inch. If you can do a scant quarter inch, it
will come out perfect the first time. Accuracy is the key. A
quarter inch foot is really, really helpful.
